Virtual Tri Camp

Just because we can’t make it to the south for training camp, doesn’t mean we can’t bring the fun of camp to you!

Join Coaches PK and Eric for 5-days in April, of fun while riding, running, strengthening and learning your way to a better season of training and racing!

When: April 14 – 18th (9am – 1pm-ish)

Where: Your home/virtual/Zwift/Zoom

What are you going to be doing for 5 days:

5 days of Zwift cycling and workouts (1.5-2 hours each day, with a ride up Ven-top on Sunday)

4 days of structured run workouts and drill work (10-60 minutes)

5 days of strength, core, mobility and swim dryland work (10-40 minutes)

5 days of “Coffee Chats” – (45-60 minutes) learn about endurance training, nutrition, racing and more

Cost:

EARLY BIRD – $150 (March 11-21)

REGULAR – $200 (March 11- April 13) ($25 discount for PKPC, Limitless and TTC athletes)**

WEEKEND ONLY (Friday-Sunday) – $100

All strength-based workout, running drills and talks will be recorded. If you can’t make a day or workout,  you can watch later. Zwift rides and workouts will be listed in Training Peaks.

What you’ll need:

  • Zwift and Training Peaks account (TP is free for the basic account)
  • Zwift compatible Trainer
  • A computer or phone to follow along
  • Bike
  • Running shoes
  • Swim tubing or resistance bands
  • Mini bands
  • 2 Dumbbells
  • Dowel/broom handle
  • lacrosse/tennis ball

SCHEDULE:

WED – 

  • 9AM – Dryland (20-30 minutes)
  • 9:30 – ZWIFT FIGURE 8 – 30K (238M) 75 minute structured social ride
  • 30 rotb
  • Social / info session

Thursday – 

  • 9am – Fan Flats (5k- 16m) -90 minutes –  Sprint work each loop with zone 2 as “recovery”
  • strength
  • Coffee chit chat

Friday – 

  • 9am – OUT AND BACK AGAIN – 43K (303M) – sustained efforts 1:45
  • ROTB
  • Mobility
  • Social / info session

Saturday 

  • 8 am – Swim dryland (20-30 minutes)
  • 8:30 am:  Recovery Ride – 60 minutes 
  • 45 minute Run off the bike 

Sunday – 

  • 8:00 am – Ven-Top – (21k – 1534m)  keep group together (2-3 hours)
  • Mobility
  • Social / info session/ wrap up

***We do require a minimum of 7 people to run the program***

The Fruitcake Five start December 28th and wraps up on January 1st!

Two categories to choose from:

  • Level One: Sugar Plum Crazy (Rides ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hour)
  • Level Two: Nutty Fruitcake (Rides ranging from 1 up to 3 hour)

Details:

  • 5 coach-led rides on Zwift with feedback and motivation via Zoom or Discord (platform will be confirmed closer to event. Both are free services to participants) with Coaches Eric and Phaedra.
  • All riders will receive a swag bag mailed out, which will include:
    • A Fruitcake Five Festive Tuber’z Wrap (keep yourself warm and stylish with a multi-functional wrap – scarf, headband, neck warmer – is there nothing this can’t do ) *** LIMITED TO THE FIRST 50 RIDERS THAT SIGN UP***
    • An artisanal crafted shave bar from Sue’s Soap Creations (because every rider deserves smooth legs)
    • A 9ml (single use) of Chamois Butt’r (trust us, you’ll be wanting this during this challenge).

A Limitless Training Day

Join us Sunday January 21st at Dig Deep Cycling and Fitness for a day filled with swim, bike and run. We start with a 2.5 hour ride on Wahoo Kickr power trainers, followed up with a 30 to 45 minute run and finish the day with a 1 hour coached swim session (2 coaches on deck) offering verbal and video feedback on your stroke.  This is a great opportunity to train with like-minded athletes in a small group setting (8 people max), get feedback and have fun!

Bike at Dig Deep – 9:00 – 11:30

Run from Dig Deep – 11:30 – 12:15

Swim at Downsview S.S. (Keele/401), on deck and ready to go from 1:00 – 2:15.

 

There will be sports nutrition from Xact Nutrition, and electrolytes available for you.

Cost is $85/person + HST

Space is limited, so sign up quickly.

Florida Winter Training Camp

Come and join Limitless Coaching and PK Performance Coaching for a week of swimming, biking and running in the sun!

Clermont is Florida’s triathlon hub and is situated in Lake County, 40 minutes from Orlando.

Get in some early-season open water swimming in Lake Minneola and get the opportunity to train at the world class National Training Centre (NTC).

Ride outside in the sunshine on quiet country roads and paved cycling trails with a surprising number of hills. Yes, this part of Florida is actually hilly!

Run along the Waterfront Trail and on the beautiful Orange Grove clay trail.

We will wrap up camp, with a local race: The Great Clermont Triathlon on Sunday March 18th. There will be a discount code available to those that are interested in racing. The amount of discount will depend on the number of people that are going to participate.

As we would like to keep the coach: athlete ratio small, allowing everyone to get a proper amount of attention, camp will be limited to 10 participants.

Camp Accommodation:

Shared accommodation is available. We have a large house with a pool and hot tub, in a gated community (just outside of Clermont) in Groveland, Florida, that can accommodate 10 athletes.

$300 CDN per person for the week’s accommodation. Breakfast is included.

Camp Pricing:

Early bird pricing before December 1st : $700 CDN per person
After December 1st: $800 CDN per person
All prices are subject to HST.

Tentative Camp Itinerary **schedule may change

Saturday:  arrival / check in 4:00 pm

Sunday:  open water swim + Long bike 100 – 120km

Monday:  50-55km easy ride in a.m. + NTC swim + track work  (could be technique work for both swim & run – maybe video?)  – include dynamic warm up drills for swim & run

Tuesday:  Hilly ride in a.m. 60-80/km + 30-40 minute run off the bike + nutrition talk

Wednesday:   16km Clay trail run in a.m. + open water swim in p.m.

Thursday:  Triple Brick day at Lake Louisa State Park + another talk

Friday:  open water swim in a.m. + Van Fleet Trail TT work (longer ride option for those that want it)

Saturday: Easy ride in a.m + race kit pick up in P.M OR Option to do Half Iron Distance race

Sunday:  Olympic Distance Race / camp ends
